Grasp At The Last Straw Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Grasp At The Last Straw

Rating: 4.0

Better I should abandon life
Than ever fail at love
For what could ever conjure strife
I could not rise above

In love there is a saving grace
Completed till the end
Without it you cannot show face
You only can pretend

As meaningless as life will be
Without love in your heart
The suffering bodes terribly
When love from life departs.

No doubt. Love is the essence of life. It means purpose, need for co-existence and no-war. The suffering bodes terribly When love from life departs.
