Granite Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Granite

True love a utopia makes
As neither can sidestep the cause
Deep inside when passion awakes
All resistance is like cat paws

Your flung into soft submission
As the hearts race to smooth pursuit
Until your beyond permission
Unwillingly biting the fruit

Vain purist jeer at the pleasures
Of two lovers in foreign lands
Refusing new founded treasures
Unconditionally holding hands.
