Grateful Sunshine Poem by Jessie Jett

Grateful Sunshine

Oh sun, a blaze.
Day by night
You hide and raise.
Out to play,
Oh sun come; no shade.

Sparkle and beam.
Sun, you bring life to me.
Life to this earth, food for trees.
Your array shines for all to see.

A smile in the morning.
A smile upon noon.
A smile that makes the world bloom.

Oh sun,
How grateful you shine.
You illuminate everything in this life.
