As they loved,
days passed by.
Seasons changed,
along with the time.

The leaves have fallen
off the trees.
Although they were blind,
and could not see.

A shadow of love
that covered their eyes.
To hide their hate
and the despised.

In eachother,
they tried to trust.
But all they had,
was just plain lust.

They had no love,
it was just a lie.
Just a shadow of love
that covered their eyes.

They slipped away,
away with the time.
Everyone knew how,
but they didn't know why.

Together no more,
as they go day by day.
Together no more, forever;
they will stay.

A love thought had,
was a love never shared.
And it was true,
but they never cared.

All the feelings were fake,
a whole bunch of lies.
T'was the shadow of love
that covered their eyes.
