Gratitude Poem by Michael Cochrane

Gratitude

Rating: 5.0

Upon waking up at dawn, take time to listen to the birds singing.
Thank God for another day on the earth.
Give thanks for the blessings in your life.
Family, friends, and your health.
Having a home when many people have none. Food on your table, something to drink. Gratitude!
Being content with life and being in the present, avoiding negative thoughts on the past, which only weighs on the mind.
Listen to the sounds of nature and relax in the morning light.
Pray and ask for guidance, in meditation and understanding of your purpose and journey in this world.
