Gratitude. To Daniel Brick Poem by Liza Sud

Gratitude. To Daniel Brick

I'm much impressed,
But my Muse is gone.
I'm tired of her,
And she left me now.

May be Muse is he -
Doesn't matter here -
He was breathing hard
into my two ears.

He was pushing blood
Strictly through my veins
And by beating rhymes
He dictates the way.

Sometimes it was sweet
Sometimes it felt bad -
But you came to greet
And to understand.

In Russia they say:
'Witness's life is short',
But smile anyway -
It is just a joke.

Your life was a bliss!
from the part I saw -
So continue please
Witnessing along!

***

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Daniel Brick 25 June 2016

I already commented on this poem in a message to you. I just re-read it and noticed two passages which are related: YOU CAME TO GREET AND TO UNDERSTAND. Yes, that exactly what I want to do through my comments on your poem: they are another way of saying, Hello, Liza, I hope everything is OK for you. And the understanding of your poems proves you have in me a sincere reader of your poems (even it I get it wrong!) The other passage is at the end: SO CONTINUE PLEASE WITNESSING ALONG. Yes, I will.
