Great Apple Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Great Apple

Great Apple

In fridge had apple
-I saw it as others.

It proved different
-with first bite…

Killed the eye its surface,
-colourful and seemed best
-pinkish and green, red
-with a whitish as prick…

Its smell in my nose
-its body, to the eyes
-amounted appetite.

Vomited with first bite;
-rotten was its inside.

Like Greece, Persia
-and Japan to China,
-Britain and Russia;
-all drunk, in power
-as ‘Great Empires.'

In class of physics,
-we saw and studied
- "the waves move with
- sines, and the cosines…"

Their graphs have many
-phases, least and the peaks.

All powers rise and fall
-the next rows are in sight.
