Grey Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Grey

Rating: 5.0

The skies
Are grey,
The seas
Are too....

The cliffs
Look grey
The beach
Looks too....

Today,
Nature is all
Grey for you.

You like it
Or not, it's
Up to you.

Solemn
Sombre
Surreal
Ethereal,
However
You view
Its greyish
Hue, Nature
Tells you
It's all for today.
Tomorrow, She'll
Bring you
A colour new,
A different hue.

It could be
Yellow, orange,
Green or white,
Pink or purple,
Red or blue....

Again, like it or
Not, it's up to you.

Made a revisit today. " However You view Its greyish Hue, Nature Tells you It's all for today. Tomorrow, She'll Bring you A colour new, A different hue." Beautifully expressed. Btw, May I invite you to read my poem "01 The Swan and Me"? A different hue of love..

Grayness is an infinitely varied continuum between black and white. It is good that you place it among the panoply of splendid, variable colors.
