Grey, Grew! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Grey, Grew!

Grey, grew!
New,
Knew,
Over the horizon of life! !
With the prey.

Dew,
Drew,
Grey, grew!
Only with the truth,
Old enough,
Colours of love and life.

Hew,
Free mind!
Few,
In focus;
Locus! !
Minds at Rest.

Grey, grew!
Old enough,
Show,
Know-how:
Flow! !
To follow after the truth.

You are lovely but,
I cannot touch you;
Because you are living very far away from me!
Love and Life,
Love and art,
Love and dreams;
Grey, grew!
New Zealand in my heart.
