Grief - I Once Had A Comrade Poem by Paul Warren

Grief - I Once Had A Comrade

I once had a comrade and served by his side
In the good times and bad in a sense of pride
But those days are now gone but sorrow remains
When I remember those times in a sweet refrain

There always was laughter in the comradeship
As we smiled together when we all did fit
It included when we were tested in the ride
I once had a comrade and served by his side
