Grief Over Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Griefover
Saturday,29th February 2020

I grieved over loss
of dear friend who ceased
forever and went far
I can only see her now as shining star

her brightness is till in tact
and this is fact too
she appeared as bright as diamond
Shined alwaysand stood high

My grief is not over
as I lost cover
from this selfish world
she knew me for my sufferings untold

I shall never forget
a dear friend who ever let
me speak in simple manner
as I always confidedin her

may be she is in distant heaven
where she is not desperately driven
but enjoying every moment
I curse her not but appreciate at present

life might have remained cruel
but she behaved so well
even with my weaknesses
I still remember good smile on her face

I feel no charm
neither there is warmth
nor any firmness
that made me always to bring smile on the face
