Gripping Too Tight Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Gripping Too Tight

The Grip

I thought that life,
Was like gripping everything tight.
I felt this gripping day and night.
But then the grip got too tight.

The non-attachment of Buddha's words.
Too much desire will cause pain.
The grip not too tight,
Will make you feel just right.

My life now was smoother than before.
I entered this new life through a new door.
I approached it like a fresh entity.
I let all attachments go and joined a fresh flow.
