Growing Old Is Failing At More And More Small Things - Poem by Shalom Freedman
GROWING OLD IS FAILING AT MORE AND MORE SMALL THINGS
Growing old is failing at more and more small things
It is losing power after power.
And growing less and less
Down and down
An old man tries to sing
But even his voice is no more than
A cracked- filled silence.
