Guedi Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Guedi is my name and i am from the land of many waters,
But you came along to see what i do behind me when the calls came;
For the days of man are like the days of unrest,
But joy is it if we can live in peace with one another on this earth.

The fruit of your love is now being shared up by many!
And like the numbers of the houses in your village;
Because you are very much noted by your acts,
But, the heavy winds were much experienced by all of us last night.
