Guess Today Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Guess Today

Guess today

Not always
-but do buy lottery
-with others, partners
-and in times by myself.

Then dream…
Organise: "If I win…! "

Pay my debts,
Complete my movies,
Finish and publish books,
Leave city to as far as could be,
Give job, room, to he who is in need,
Home myself near the polar bears, friendly,
Build Izba, not a hut, nor chalet, wood-furnace,
Lot of wine to drink, be part of nature in wilderness.

I hear who has won
-or no win (not at all)
-yet stick to my dead,
-old ticket; to dream.

Find me at some window, looking in,
See a child narrating stories,
With a toy or painting,
I enjoy since it is
Pleasure to become crazy
Think of things you know are
(unreal, childishly floating fantasies!)

The same mood comes to me
When looking at trees, flowers
(Germinate, bud, grow and then fade)
When looking at blades of grass
(with drops of water; after cut, crying)
When looking in mirror
(not at me but at world while marching)

Guess today must go and buy ticket,
Guess today must find me single bench,
Guess today must dream and make up stories.
