Guide Poem by Daniel Mauw

Guide

I think I want to meet a ghost
I'd like him\her to be my paranormal host
Some one who'll guide me through the night
Along the path to the gate
Where I'd normally be filled with fright
Will I be sentenced to love or to hate?
To heaven or to hell?
But my host won't be the one to tell
The decision made
by the keeper of that gate

My death was an accident
The killer was frightened
By my steps to their space
Damn, I should've stayed in my place.
