Guilt Poem by Eric Joseph Lopez

Guilt

I’m laying here sad face and blue,
Wondering where you are.
Coldness all around me,
Wishing you were here.
All but the memory,
Those special times with you.

So I clench my heart,
Holding tight I must.
With my head facing down,
Feeling it blow away like dust.
All but the memory gone,
Those special times from the start.

Though I really didn’t do harm,
I feel like I don’t deserve another chance.
Though you say you forgive,
I fear we may never dance.
All but the memory is there as I live,
Those special times with you when we was as one…..
