Gunner Brigade - Poem by Rachel Willcox
Down from the glen came the gooner men
Highbury is there little den.
Nothing can stop these boys in red and white
There skils and passion shine real bright.
Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp too
They da men that make em stew,
Just make it look so easy
Lehmann never lets em squeez by.
Ashley Cole the left defender
Sol Campbell will never surrender,
Kolo Toure knocks a couple of heads
Lauren will make em wish they’d stayed in bed.
Freddie works really hard
Gilberto wrongly gets shown the red card.
Fabregas is a man of many talents
Robert Pires rarely loses his balance.
Arsene Wenger is the boss
He’s never had a profit loss.
He knows the players he wants to buy
As long as the price tag isn’t too high.
We are the Arsenal
The boys in red and white
No one should mess with us
We’ll always put up a fight.
