Gypsy Dreamer Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Gypsy Dreamer

Gypsy dreamer
Dream along with me
Nomadic heart
Full of dreams and aspirations

Sky lit eyes and soul assertions
Travel within this soul's excursions
Ascend the light of a true feeling's worth
Shapeshift self against torrid illusions

Mirrors lie in flesh transfusion
Inner delving the truth comes clear
More than imagery of the eyes disillusioned
The soul is the true strength of a self-revolution

Honor lays in a bed of roses
Traveling onward with spiritual cleansing
Flowery scented salvation of being self-rewoven
Remade with greater clearance of self-devotion

Nomadic fury in a peaceful awakening
Let us unite our hearts
As our Ying and Yang becomes one with love

Gypsy dreamer, are you there?
Never will I stuck in one place
Please, give me a map of your face
The place that never ends
I am waiting near with endurance

Gypsy dreamer, do you see beyond my flesh?
Gypsy dreamer, Take me away, from here

Or was it I that was you all along?

Ride me along your endless tears

Gypsy dreamer, where have you been all of these years?
Are you finally here?
