Gypsy Love Poem by Rahman Lotif

Gypsy Love

Rating: 5.0

In my senses you flow on
Like the coolest riverine stream,
Your presence in my blood
Is like a true undreamt dream!
Just the true way,
I trudge all along,
I then lose my way in
My memories own songs,
The wonderful duet of
The pebbles and river water,
Will share life on same tracks
Without any falter.
Where one needs to forget
Of all worldly barters,
The affection in leafy shades
Of trees cool - unchartered,
Sometimes the world exchanges
Blood with true love,
A primordial touch it is
Oh, my treasure trove!
Suddenly truth sublimes
Frailty prevails,
To wear veil of commonness
So divinity thus wails!
Oh Mother Goddess!
Of Learning, do heed,
The toxic environment
Has no effect indeed,
The razor sharp icy wind
Always failed to touch,
My true love, nomadic
By your divinity as such!
