If I had never known your name,
I would have loved you just the same.
Had I not gazed into your eyes,
I still would have been tantalized.

Had I never held your hand,
I would have dreamed I was your man.
Had I never felt your touch,
I would have loved you very much.

Had our lips dear never met,
I’d fantasize that mine were wet,
With kisses that you’d give to me,
When I turn out lights to sleep.

I thank the Lord that Never’s not,
My dreams came true, for I’ve got,
The greatest blessing in the world.
The blessing is you are my girl.

Our love grows stronger every year,
No outside force could sever.
