Halls Concerting Poem by Paul Brookes

Halls Concerting

music major swells,
filling hall, such sweet sonic rhapsody.

hills and valleys
diminuendo, crescendo,
trumpets loud, drum throbs.

ears tickled, spine shivers
sweet palpable anticipation
Dies Irae terrible ornament.

a veritable Verdi feast.
