Hallucination Four Poem by Barry Middleton

Hallucination Four

Rating: 4.5

the stars upon my ceiling
must know how I am feeling
I need a sign to show the way for me

outside the sky is dark
and soon I must embark
I only pray that darkness sets me free

I hear a night bird call
where shadows gently fall
and it will soon reveal all I implore

the harbinger of night
will set all things aright
and lead me to that peaceful silent shore
