Hallucination Three Poem by Barry Middleton

Hallucination Three

there's a bear outside my widow
there are shadows on the shade
there are fish upon the ceiling
that imagination made

I can hear the ocean roaring
so we must act with haste
the clock is ticking louder
and there is no time to waste

there's a guru and a shaman
looking out from inner space
and they claim to know the plan
that there's just one human race

there are patterns on the wall
in black and white and tan
there are lessons in the shadows
that could change the fate of man
