Hand-Drawn Sunflower Tanka Poem by Chen-ou Liu

Hand-Drawn Sunflower Tanka

written on the third anniversary of Russia's Invasion of Ukraine

wave after wave
of blue-and-yellow flags
in bitter cold
atop the White House Fencing
a hand-drawn sunflower
