Hands Poem by Rick De La Pena

Hands

Rating: 4.5

Regrets, truths, baggage in tow
Life's journey sometimes takes its toll
With tender hands of bleeding uncertainty
In your lonely room, you pray for mercy.
If I could tell you just one thing it would be, you're OK.
Hold my hand, together, we'll take this pain away.
The unspoken promise of a friend
I'm in it with you until the very end.

A poignant piece of poetry, well conceived and nicely brought forth with conviction. A beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing Rick.
