Intuition Poem by Rick De La Pena

Intuition

Rating: 5.0

My spirit keeps breaking
Every step is painstaking
My being I have forsaken
My soul keeps aching
Listen
Intuition sings, a voice from within
sweet music of a mandolin
Muffled trills of the fool I've been
A song to save me from mortal sin
Intuition my song of truth
saves me from my spidery noose
The devil still tries to seduce.
I listen, Intuition, God Speaks my shield of truth.
