Hands And Hearts Entwined Poem by Tina Baaklini

Hands And Hearts Entwined

My sweet soulmate,

My heart is content
True love he just met
When his door you knocked
Newly born he felt

Hail to an old friend, he said
A endless lover and resident
Hail to a tender soulmate who
Knows me like the palm of his hand

Then I was content
For I knew that you came to stay
So I said farewell to old days
And to all their dismay

And life since then has been kind
With only you in my mind
Our future together is outlined
Forever hands and hearts entwined
