Hangs A Flap Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Hangs A Flap

Hangs a flap

If it was that easy
God could have kept them busy
At heaven
And not driven on an earth

Even though he loved human beings
But they were needed to bring
Some form of correction
Their behavior was matter for concern

Not all were decent and nice
Some were moody and voiceless
Some were hesitant
And many remained ignorant

They are sent here
To live with fear
And cause embarrassment
With intention to hurt

Such people are made to feel
Their load on earth and still
Made to suffer
More and more

"There is no escape"
There hangs a flap
With caution
So there must be no confusion

Hangs A Flap
