Happy Birthday Poem by Trinity Caitlin Davis

Happy Birthday

Rating: 5.0

Happy Birthday,
I wish I could tell you face to face,
But, I know you're in a better place.
It's been two autumns since I saw you last
The years go by too fast
Sixty-one candles would be placed upon your cake
Yesterday was my birthday, and I couldn't think of any wishes to make
I'm listening to a Kenny Chesney playlist; I know you loved his songs
Now, I can't help but sing along.
The lyrics in 'Who You'd Be Today' are true
Happy Birthday to You

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Today is my late grandmother's 61 birthday, and we were very close. I can't physically give her a present, so I wrote this poem to make up for that.

Late grandmother's 61 Birthday is celebrated in mind and emotion and a nice tribute poem is presented on her birthday. Giving the message of Autumn and greeting with love is interesting. A nicely drafted tribute poem is shared here. May her soul rest in peace! May God give happiness! ...10.....Welcome to PoemHunter.
