Nocturnal Beacons
Placed upon high
Illuminate the roamin roads
Leading me home
Away from you
The glowing orange
Betrays no colour
This shining light
Leaving us both
Black and white
Two conjoined figures
On this Friday night
Numerous suns
Staring up at me
From the glittering Asphalt
Whilst drivers fleetingly
Cover the fluourescent glare
Alone On the darkened path.
The memories of our
Passionate embrace lingers.
Following me,
Dispelling the darkness,
Through which,
I can now see.
