It was May 9, Victory Day.
She was a little girl.
She went with the father
to see the parade.
That day was her birthday.

The father told they were
all these people came for her.
She was happy to see
smiling and cheerful people.

She has never grown up.

Today she is 51 years old
and whenever someone smiles,
she thought it was for her.
Her birthday is her every day.

Happy birtday, my Evergreen.

Sretan rođendan

Bio je 9 maj, Dan pobjede.
Bila je mala djevojčica.
Otišla je s ocem da vidi na paradu.
Tog dana je bio njen rođendan.

Otac joj je rekao da su
svi ti ljudi došli zbog nje.
Bila je sretna što vidi
nasmijane i vesele ljude.

Nikada nije odrasla.
Danas ona ima 51 godinu
i kad god se neko nasmiješi,
ona pomisli da to zbog nje.
Njoj je, svaki dan, njen rođendan.

Sretan ti rođendan, moja Evergrin.
