The childhood days we’ve spent together
The grade school happenings we’ve shared
The special occasions we’ve enjoyed
Will always be cherished and recalled.

People have come and go
Relationships have flourished and died
But the friendship hat we know
Have withstood the test of distance and of time.

On your birthday, rest assured
You’ll be remembered all day through
Thoughts of you will fill my day
And a wish to be near you.

Despite the obstacles that come my way
I still find some other means
To send a wish just for you
On this very special day.

I wish you most of the good things in life
I wish you strength to endure the bad
I hope God will bless you, too
From this day on forward.
