Happy Ending Poem by Tuneer Sarkar

Happy Ending

What if there was no more sunrises for me,
will that make you happy?
What if there was no fight, no hunger or desire left in me
will that make you free?
What if there was no string attached to me,
nothing to pull nowhere to push
What if i fell from your hands, like a broken puppet's lost arm?
Blame it on me that i couldn't grow, what others could give
I couldn't show
What if no more emotions ran midst this tears of sea?
Could it finally be a happy ending for me?

Short but very deep. Great poem to make one think hard and contemplate
