Father’s day’s so very special
A time to honor all the dads
Perhaps a little present
A delicious meal or two ain’t bad

A bar-b-q is so festive and fun
To say “I’m thinking of you today”
A special card is also nice
And find father-kid games to play

It’s fun to recall years gone by
Special times with your dad
Some are not still with us
That’s sometimes a little bit sad

But we can all stop and remember
Dig out old photos as well
Dad looked so young back then
So many stories we could tell

Enjoy the kids big and small
Make plans without delay
Do what you love the most, guys
And have a Happy Father’s Day!
