Hate Filled Rage Poem by Mark Williams

Hate Filled Rage

Allegory to complacency.
Idling, wallows in pleasantry.
Ancient god, too bright remains.
The disc orbiting hinders mild entropy.

Petals, stained white.
Surround my red anther.
Overruling black sepal.
Arranged lightly on thin pedicel.
Perfection in desire,
Haunts un-living memory.

Thirst, lust, subdues.
Long balanced temperament.
Costulet encircle, rapture,
Absorb feasts bountiful.
Rough branches forcefully,
Intertwine and plunder light.
Time passes, anger grows,
Swell the small space,
Between roots, and stems,
Moist with imprisoned gall.
Struggle of the weak,
Nourish the unholy.

The change is so slight,
So tiny in this prison.
Fruit blooming dead and bitter,
Lies unwanted.
