Prayer Poem by Mark Williams

Prayer

Disconnect the perfect line,
Cycle indestructible,
Humans worship:
Birth,
Knowledge,
Love,
Death.

We want to stop.
Watching our love fall into hell.
We want any power to reverse these events.
All humans desire to take.
Not have things forcibly given to them,
Eternity.

Feeling pain,
Kneel in horror.
Consumption overwhelming,
Become dirt.
Forsaken guidance,
Fear no lame, or stupid.
Forlorn of fire and ash,
Consume the propulsion.

Wade into rivers,
To feel water embracing.
Follow your desire, forget to breathe.
Wind will fear it,
Winds will be kept.

Let the four come,
Let them be.
Exist for me.
Conquest, War, Famine, Death.
