Haughty Spirit Poem by Felix Otiende

Haughty Spirit

Haughty Spirit

Big belly man you have build your gate high,
Blocking us from your standard,
After harvesting our sweat,

Your villainous speech are thorns on our path,
One day you will wish to follow here too,
You might despise us now,

You don't give ear to my calls,
On your four-wheel drive you splash water on me,
Do you remember the promises?

Your heart have deceived you,
You build your faith on graft,
Overconfident is your wine,

Today humility has risen,
You have come for my ballot,
You thought five years was a century,

Your haughty Spirit must fall today,
Am not a fool anymore,
You invited your downfall Mr MP.
