Hear My Cry Poem by Felix Otiende

Hear My Cry

Rating: 5.0

Hear My Cry

Today I come into your court,
Oh Lord give ear to my submission,
Hear my grief and sorrow
As you heard Hannah,

Don't let me be a laughing stock,
Be my shield,
Be my vindicator,
And change my ashes to beauty,

Only You can change my situation,
As you raised Lazarus from the tomb,
Give life to my dying muscles,
By your stripes I was healed,

Yes! I shall not die,
I shall live to recount the good deeds of the Lord
Thousands shall fall,
I will stand to praise your name,

I sow in tears oh Lord,
Let me reap in joy,
Let my family celebrate your miracles
We shall count your blessings one by one,

My enemies want to finish us,
Those who hope in you shall never be put in shame,
Don't my family be put in disgrace through me,
Oh Lord be the four person in the fire.
