Meaningful shall be the preparations.
Meaningful, the chants and incantations.
Meaningful and with purpose all shall be.
Meaning full, when Christ the centre be.

Christmas is much more than just the decorations
and so much more than the party celebrations.
It is not just eating turkey or drinking wine.
For with Christ at the centre it becomes divine.

Let's light the candles and really decorate.
Let's put up the Christmas lights and celebrate.
Let's eat the turkey and all have so much more fun
as we remember the birth of God's Beloved Son.
