Have I Not Been Vulnerable - Poem by Dennis Go

Have I not been
Vulnerable
To your vague
And indecisive
Smile, I would
Have received
My broad share
Of inheritance.

Split choices to choose
But I rather
Stay free;
Part for part,
Dime for dime,
I must accept
The longing
Of defeat.
