Ever seen something you wish you had stayed oblivious to?
Something that has enough power to make your chest feel as if your rib cage is shrinking it hurts that much.
Then you hid that feeling.
Hide every trace.
Locking it in a box because you just have to put up a brave front and
'Smile as if you've never been hurt.'
That way you don't have to dwell on your own stupid feelings.
your head is telling you the logic, that you're just being silly.
while your heart is screaming the complete opposite.
But on the outside everyone remains completely oblivious to your inner turmoil.

Can totally identify with emotions you have expressed. Very good poem. Your heart shows itself through sorrow, no matter what you tell yourself in your head.
