Have you ever
Wished you could go back in time
To find those memories that made you smile

Have you ever
Wished you could
Somehow make it all better

Do you ever
Remember clearly how it is suppose to be
Simple and not so complicated

Do you ever
Remember how it felt
To just be you

Have you ever
Wished you told them how much they meant to you
Or that they somehow just knew it

Have you ever
Wished you could start anew
Wash away all those mistakes you made

Do you ever
Remember what it felt like to not be so confused
Not so burdened by life

Do you ever
Remember when you thought you had all this time to get it
Right but now you know you don’t

Have you ever
Wished you could be someone else
A beautiful princess I think

Have you ever
Wished they could understand you
And still loved you
