Have You Ever Felt Like Poem by Francis Duggan

Have You Ever Felt Like

Have you ever felt like one stuck in a hole
And in your sense of self esteem failure is taking toll
And your crosses in life seeming heavy to bear
You are not alone people like you not rare
Today for you just one more miserable day
And the clock on your life it is ticking away
The bird with a broken wing cannot take to the air
You tell me about it life can seem unfair
your worries are many like mushrooms they grow
You are not the person others wish to know
Quite poor and unhappy and by life knocked about
A sad individual one racked by self doubt
So many like you in the big World out there
You are not alone people like you not rare.
