Have you noticed?
There is a wonderland...
...where it appears that the sun is not permitted...
...to shower light on its people;
The mist, fog, and thick black clouds...
...hang in the air as canopy...
...over its suffering people;
But, they keep living...
...because of the divine light...
...shimmering in their hearts;
The light of the heavens and the earth...
...that blazes in the core of everything.
The nights there are as dark as they were...
...when there was no electricity invented;
With patience and prayers they are waiting...
...for the morning to break...
...shivering with biting cold...
...and making like blinds movements about;
Have they embraced the darkness...
...as their fait accompli?
Awe Stricken people as if statues!
As if uninfluenced by joy and grief!
As if having lost light receptors in their eyes!
Or, is it a lull before storm!
Pure light of innocence on their faces!
