Through the misty haze of time,
A star still shines above.
A glow still fills my heart,
Of our long ago love.

Speak to me of another time,
When our love had just begun.
Tell me of the shattered dreams,
And the total eclipse of the sun.

Hearts were broke from betrayal.
Love was lost in the lies.
Tears brought forth from memories.
Joy fades as trust dies.

Through the misty haze of time,
The moon still glows above,
Memories still make me smile,
Of our long ago love.
