He Didn't Cry (Rittenhouse) Poem by Randy McClave

He Didn't Cry (Rittenhouse)

He didn't cry when he illegally armed himself and crossed state lines
And he didn't cry about breaking the laws or paying any fines,
He went to protect property he neither owned, nor knew who did
He is just a stupid, racist, evil, sinful punk of a kid.

He didn't cry when he shot three people and killed two dead
He didn't cry because in his soul there was not empathy or dread,
And when he passed the police brandishing his bought illegal arm
He didn't cry at all because of his carnage and harm.

He didn't cry when he violated the terms of his bail
When he wore a shirt that said, "Free as f*ck" at a bar when he got out of jail,
And then when that underage 17 year old punk had himself a beer
Not one time at all did he show remorse, or cried a single tear.

He didn't cry when he proudly and happily took two life's away
He didn't cry knowing that one day in hell that fine unto God he would pay,
Then when he heard that he might be held responsible for his leads
Then and only then did he cry like a baby for his evil and heartless deeds.
