He Had Two Names Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

He Had Two Names

The moon is crazy jealous
lately

I have been under YOU
howling,
dancing
and tonight,
I swallowed you
to tell you that I need you
night after night

You brave my darkness
and reflect tranquility
onto my sea,
without even owning a sky-
More impressive
than any old moon

The stars warn
BACK OFF

but

DON'T
YOU
F*CKING
DARE
