He Hides My Soul In The Cleft Of The Rock Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

He Hides My Soul In The Cleft Of The Rock

O He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock by hiding me
By the shelter of His mighty hands He has covered me
O the Son of God and the Son of Man for only He has
Ever only truly understood the very likes of yours truly

By leading me on my very own quests of my very own
Never ending life's stories. O how much He really loves
Even the very likes of me by completely covering me amidst
The very storms of my life and it's many adversities!

Through it all through thick and through thin, I have learned
How to both place all of my very own trustworthy faith in Him
When I was as lost and as lonely as I could possibly ever be
He reached out His hand to me by delivering my very own soul

Once I was blinded by the night times darkness and despair
But once again He reached out His mighty strong and delivered
Me there from the depths of my never ending misery, heartaches
That always threatened to totally engulf and always torment me!

Yes it is true, that whosoever, the Son of God and the Son of
Man delivers and sets free is truly freeborn indeed! For in His
House there are many mansions just o'er the hill tops where
All of the saints of Almighty GOD will ne'er grow older Amen!
