I was inspired by the way he would talk to me
I was moved by his intelligence
Fascinated by the way he would encourage me
Shielded by the faith he had in me
I was into the way his touch would make me feel
I was drawn to his beauty
Rushed by his "go get it" attitude
Captivated by his one of a kind personality
I was all for him, whatever he needed from me
I was all for him, no matter what he needed me to do
I wanted to show him that I was the one for him
I wanted to prove that he needed to look no further
I wanted for him to want me the way I wanted him
He told me to trust him, so I did
He told me to have faith in him, so I did
He told me to believe in him, so I did
I was there for all the down hills that came about
I pulled us through all the storms that hung over us
I picked us up every time something held us down
I waited for him to acknowledge my doing
I waited for him to thank me for my devotion
I waited for him to show his appreciation
I waited for him to love me back
I waited, and waited to realize he left me all alone
